  7. CorVision is a specification-driven application code generator that generates
  8. 100 percent of the code for business applications. Beginning with graphical
  9. diagrams under DOS, CorVision collects application specifications through a
  10. variety of means, and interfaces to relational databases and CASE tools, such
  11. as KnowledgeWare's IEW/ADW. CorVision stores these specifications in a
  12. VAX-based repository. The repository drives CorVision's generators: one
  13. produces ANSI `C' and the other produces end-user documentation for the
  14. application. Modifications and enhancements are made to the application by
  15. changing the specifications using CorVision, not by modifying source code. This
  16. simplifies maintenance and enables CorVision to be used in a Rapid Application
  17. Development lifecycle. The fact that CorVision generates 100 percent of the
  18. code also ensures the resultant application's reliability. CorVision
  19. applications run under a variety of operating systems, including SCO UNIX, and
  20. work with popular relational databases and file systems.
